Full length series or plays can by performed separately.
Ages 20's to 50's.
Ugly Art is a series of related scenes that take place
before an imaginary red painting during an art gallery opening. In the series of plays, women take a dominant
roll, where they force issues and explore emotions with
men. Men are then forced to adjust to their relationships
and the understanding of their immediate world.
Each scene has two characters, a man and a woman;
except for Art Talk, which has three characters.
Four actors can play all parts. The order of the plays is variable with the exception of The Associate, which must
be the opening scene, and Art Talk, which is the final
scene.
No set is required.
